iSpace Foundation, since its inception two years ago, has become home to several tech and startup-related events that have happened during the period. Among the lesser known events is the Mobile Apps Ghana Showcase, aka MAGS.

The first edition of MAGS came off in October 2013 as one of the various innovations of the co-working space. The aim of MAGS is simple — to showcase the best of Ghana’s apps and games. It offers an opportunity for develepers to receive invaluable feedback on their idea or MVP, from investors, tech stakeholders, and other developers.

Over the past years, with the introduction of the various app stores and mobile operating systems, app development has been a major aftermath. Ghana has had its fair share with apps like the GHConstitution and Nkyea emerging as some prominent ones. Recent ones like Moja also have their dreams to use apps for the benefit of society.

To participate in MAGS, teams would have to register and be setup for exhibition on the day, Saturday 4th July, 2015. Details about the event are already on here.

A perk of showing up at this year’s event is that participants get the chance to compete in an Innovathon that afternoon for several prizes, and a chance to fly to Dubai to be part of the Turn8 accelerator.
